About Me

Lianna Kirakosyan, LMFT

Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist #153494

welcome

Therapy can be a space to untangle the internal conflicts that keep you feeling stuck - whether you're navigating cultural expectations, perfectionism, anxiety, or major life transitions.

As a second-generation Armenian woman, I bring a culturally informed lens to my work and understand how generational experiences can shape the way we relate to ourselves and others.

I work collaboratively with clients to explore patterns of thought, behavior, and emotion, helping you move toward more clarity, resilience, and self-trust.

Whether you're carrying the weight of complex trauma, dealing with a surge in anxiety and obsessive thoughts, or working through disordered eating and body image concerns, I’m here to support you through.

My Approach

My work is grounded in a person-centered, trauma-informed, and integrative approach, shaped by your unique history and goals. I draw from psychodynamic and strengths-based modalities, while also integrating mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and recovery-oriented tools when helpful. I embrace Health at Every Size (HAES) and intuitive eating principles to support clients exploring their relationships with food and body image in a more compassionate and empowered way.

I am as warm as I am direct. I’m here to help you deepen your self-understanding and challenge patterns that no longer serve you, while also honoring the pace that feels right for your process.

I believe therapy is a space for honest reflection, meaningful growth, and lasting change.

Are you feeling unsure about therapy? That’s completely normal. The best way to find out if we can work together is to have a free call. It’s an opportunity to explore if therapy is the right path and ask any questions.  If you decide that we are fit, we can schedule our first session.

If we are not a good fit, we are happy to make a referral to another therapist in my network. We have openings for new patients and currently do not have a waitlist.

All inquiries will receive an email response. Together, we’ll figure out a time to chat by phone.
